Terms of Service

By accessing PassivePin ("the site", "we", "us") you agree to these terms. We have written them in plain English; if anything is unclear, contact us at hello@passivepin.xyz.

1. The site is a directory, not a service provider

PassivePin is an editorial directory. We list decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN) projects, publish setup guides, and provide referral links where programs are live. We do not operate any of the listed projects, do not custody user funds, do not run nodes on your behalf, and do not intermediate between you and the projects. Each project is run by its own team under its own terms; clicking through to a project means you are entering a separate contractual relationship with that project, not with PassivePin.

2. No financial advice

Nothing on this site is financial advice. The earning rates we publish are estimates derived from publicly available data, community reports, and our own testing where applicable. They are not guarantees. Cryptocurrency projects can rug, halt, change tokenomics, or shut down overnight. Hardware projects can fail to pay out, change requirements, or become uneconomic. Past performance is not a predictor of future returns. Never deploy capital you cannot afford to lose, and never run hardware you cannot afford to replace. If you need financial advice tailored to your situation, consult a licensed professional in your jurisdiction.

3. Accuracy of listings

We update the directory weekly. Earning rates, hardware requirements, supported regions, and token allocations change frequently. We make a good-faith effort to keep information current but we do not warrant that any specific number on the site is accurate at the moment you read it. If you spot an error, please email us so we can correct it; corrections are usually published within seven days.

4. Referral relationships

Some links on this site are referral links. If you sign up, deposit, or trade through them, PassivePin may receive a commission, points allocation, or token奖励. This does not change the price you pay; it does not change the project's terms; and it does not affect how we rank projects (see our methodology). We disclose affiliate relationships on every project card.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Scrape the site at a rate that degrades service for other users.
Republish our guides or comparison tables without attribution and a working link back to PassivePin.
Use the site for any unlawful purpose, including attempting to compromise project security, harvest credentials, or sybil-attack referral programs.
Circumvent the rate limits, robots.txt, or other access controls we set.
Submit malicious links via the contact form (we will block and report).

6. Intellectual property

Original text, layouts, and graphics on PassivePin are © 2026 PassivePin and the listed contributors, all rights reserved. You may quote up to 200 words with attribution and a working link. Project names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners; their appearance on the site is nominative fair use for the purpose of editorial review.

7. Limitation of liability

PassivePin is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, including but not limited to lost profits, lost tokens, failed hardware, or missed airdrops. If a court of competent jurisdiction finds us liable despite the foregoing, our total liability shall not exceed AUD 100.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold PassivePin, its operator, and contributors harmless from any claim arising out of your use of the site, your interactions with listed projects, or your violation of these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page will reflect any change. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days.

10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales unless local consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction grants you additional rights that cannot be waived by contract.

11. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These terms, together with the privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PassivePin regarding your use of the site.
